My doc sent me back to the lab for a repeat renal panel, which I totally forgot about until I saw the script hanging on the fridge. So I went today and got my blood drawn, and didn't think much about it.
Except.
What with all my reminiscing about pregnancy the last few days, I suddenly remembered the whole preeclampsia scare in my third tri, and the protein spilling and whatnot. And suddenly I'm wondering if whatever damage was done to my kidneys was permanent.
Like I said, no point worrying about it. It is what it is, and if my results are skunky again I'm sure she'll send me to a nephrologist, and we'll go from there.
So for now, I'll just whistle.
