ghoulsisI just found out that my alma mater's alumni database was hacked. Contact information was compromised for something like 300,000 alumni, including, oh, 137,000 or so social security numbers.
On the plus side, Equifax makes it very easy to put a fraud alert on your credit report, which I just did.
