So, if the Jet Truck can't fix the problem, we don't pay for it. Which is good.

But then it means our problem won't be solved. Which is bad.

I'm guessing next they try a small tactical nuke?

Oh, we'll be paying for something, no matter what. Already have, in fact. The issue becomes, is the underlying problem on our property, or not?

I'm hoping the jet truck can blow whatever this is out of the line. At that point, I guess they run the camera down there to see if there's damage to the line (requiring a replacement) or what. In any event, we're probably looking at several thousand dollars (at least). Which, I guess it goes without saying, we don't have.

mkay... plumbing in general... funny! your plumbing related problem, anything but that. that's scary, actually... especially since it's most likely not your fault the thing is busted.

i hope they'll fix it soon. *crossing fingers*

It's most definitely not our fault. The guy yesterday told us that a problem like this takes a long time to develop, and was here before we bought the house. He even suggested that we contact a lawyer to go after the previous owners for not disclosing the problem (which they're required to do by law)... problem is, we can't prove that they knew anything about it. So going to court is pointless. It's our problem now.

I hope the jet truck gets here today. Even if they can't get it fixed today, I'd at least like to know how much longer this might drag on.
